Sufouh Beach

Sufouh Beach has many different names. Some call it ‘Secret Beach, some call it ‘Black Palace Beach’. No matter what you call it, it’s a wonderful place to visit. The beach is between Burj Al Arab and the Palm Jumeirah Island. Sufouh Beach is not a gorgeous holiday destination like Dubai’s commercial beaches. Rather, it’s a calm and peaceful place where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the Persian Gulf.  White sand, salty sea breeze and clean seawater will soothe your mind.

It’s a good place for playing beach volleyball.  Shallow waters make it a favourite spot for families.  You can get a view of the famous Burj Al Arab from the beach.

Winter has the most optimal weather for visiting Sufouh Beach. You can sunbathe, swim and relax in lower humidity. 

How To Get There

• By Car and Taxi: If you are going by car or taxi, you have to follow King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street. 
• By Metro and Taxi: You can go to  Dubai Internet City station or Mashreq station by metro. After that, you can hire a taxi to go to Sufouh Beach.  

Tips For Visitors

• There is no toilet at Sufouh Beach. So, keep this in mind.
• Showers and changing rooms are not available. 
• Avoid visiting in the summer. The weather gets extremely hot in winter. 
• Barbecues and bonfires are not allowed at the beach.
• Overnight camping is prohibited. 
• Sufficient parking space is available.
