Motiongate Dubai is a Hollywood-inspired theme park. It is located inside Dubai Parks and Resorts. This park was established in 2016. The total area of this establishment is 45 acres. The park is divided into five distinctive areas. These are-

Studio Central: This is the park's main entrance. This area is themed around a classic Hollywood studio.  Here you can explore the Golden Age of Hollywood. There are world-class shopping and dining facilities. Columbia Pictures: There are seven hair-raising attractions featuring exciting coaster rides. This zone is based on Sony Pictures' films and franchises, including Ghostbusters, The Green Hornet, and Underworld. Columbia Pictures’ most iconic characters roam around the place. DreamWorks Animation: Many unique adventures are waiting for you in this very special indoor area of the park. Movies like Shrek, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda are among the themes of this zone. Lionsgate: Based on Lionsgate films, this area includes rides inspired by The Hunger Games, Now You See Me, and John Wick. Liongate’s rollercoaster is the world’s fastest rollercoaster. Smurfs' Village: There are exciting family rides, interactive play zones and delightful theatre shows. This zone is a perfect destination for both children and grown-ups. There is a flat ride and a rollercoaster suitable for younger visitors.

Fight ghosts with the Ghostbusters, join Shrek and Donkey on a 4D adventure. You can enter the world of The Hunger Games and ride the Capitol Bullet Train. Explore Smurfs Village with the little ones. The park offers high-speed roller coasters like John Wick: Open Contract. You can also enjoy interactive 4D rides like Kung Fu Panda: Unstoppable Awesomeness. There are kid-friendly attractions and splash zones. They organise daily stage shows, character meet-and-greets, and street performances.

Best Time To Visit

Anytime during winter and spring will be good for visiting Motiongate Dubai.  Weekdays are less crowded. During weekends, the park gets very crowded.

How To Get There

• By Car and Taxi: You can go to Motiongate Dubai by car and taxi via Sheikh Zayed Road.
• By Metro and Bus: You gotta take the Dubai Metro Red Line to the UAE Exchange Station. From the UAE Exchange Station, transfer to the DPR1 bus.
• By Bus: There are bus services connecting major parts of the city to Dubai Parks and Resorts.
• Shuttle Services: Some hotels in Dubai offer shuttle services to and from Dubai Parks and Resorts.

Tips For Visitors

• Avoid visiting from April to October. Temperatures can rise above 40°C during this time.
• School holidays and public holidays bring more visitors, but also more shows, parades, and extended park hours.
• Public transportation options usually consist of multiple transfers and can be time-consuming. A taxi or ride-hailing service would be comfortable, especially during hotter months.
