- By Car: You can come to this wonderful salt Lake by car. Take either the E65 or E30 highway toward the Al Bihouth area in Al Wathba South. Use Google Maps to locate the lake. The lake is near the Al Wathba Fossil Dunes, which can serve as a helpful reference point.
- By Taxi: You can hire a taxi from Abu Dhabi to Al Wathba.
Tips For Visitors
- Before You Go, use the correct location. Search for "Al Wathba Long Salt Lake" on Google Maps or use the Plus Code 5G52+HX Abu Dhabi.
- Try to avoid visiting there from June to August. It is extremely hot during this time, often over 45°C. Not recommended unless you visit before sunrise and stay for a short time.
- Bring essentials like water, snacks, sun protection, and a fully charged phone.
- There are no toilets or shops nearby. Please keep this in mind when you visit.
- Avoid stepping on the delicate salt formations. Do not leave any litter behind. Bring trash bags to carry your litter back.
- If you plan to stay overnight, you should take camping gear.
